Would anyone like me to post video of me talking about my mac, giving you information and things like that? I am planning on doing so, but I do not like the way my voice sounds on camera haha :P ... if you would like me to, just leave me a comment. If you have mac releated questions, or any topics you would like me to talk about, just let me know! Thanks guys! :)
Hey guys, if you haven't heard of commandN.tv, its a video podcast, and it has all tech related news. It is hosted by Amber MacArthur, Jeff MacArthur, Mike Lazzara, and Brian McKechnie. It's pretty cool, you should check it out. Anyway, at least everyweek I find some pretty cool links that they tell us about. I wanted to tell you these two because I thought they were really cool. The first is called takeitapart.net and pretty much it tells you how to take an electronic device apart step by step with information and pictures which I thought was really cool. The second one was XvsXP.com and this site basically gives you a breakdown of OSX, XP Home, and HP Pro, so if you can't decide which operating system you think you should get, check out this site.
Thanks guys! Keep up with CommandN, it's a great show!

Well I love my new macbook! I definately do not want to go back to windows. Everyone in my Apple store was so nice and knew what they were talking about. We had someone who was there on their first week possibly and she knew everything that I needed an asnwer to. I got the black 13" macbook with a gig of ram and this baby flies lol. Also, since I am a college student, there was a free iPod nano included as well as a free HP $100 printer with mail in rebates included! So there was a savings of about $350. This mac is so fast. i didn't need to install any software (except one set of updates). Flash player was all ready there and all of thoes goodies. Every device I've pluged in - flash drive, camera, and external hard drive - was detected instantly and needed no drivers to be installed unlike windows. The operating system itself is very sleek. I loved the wallpapers lol. Also, I'm a huge fan of the dock bar. The screen it beautiful. I love the glossy screen. I would definately recommend taking a trip to the apple store for your next computer. This was my first mac ever, and after two days, I am very adjusted. I do not miss windows at ALL haha! So definately go check out your local store. If you would like to know anything else from me about my mac, let me know!

Well I just called my local store and they are instock! w00t! So I should have it hopefully by 4-6PM :D!!
Well I think that the one of the biggest announcements in the keynote video was the announcement of the next major release of Mac OS X - Leopard. I have listed the top 10 that they listed at the keynote. However, there are more that are "top secret" and as they said they didn't want the other people to start their photo copiers too soon! You can watch the full keynote here.
Be sure to check out the official Leopard webpge!
- Support for 64bit applications
- Time Machine
- Complete Package
- Boot Camp
- Front Row
- Photo booth
- Spaces
- Spotlight
- Core animation
- Universal Access
- Mail Enhancements
- Dashboard
- iChat Enhancements
I think a lot of these features are going to very cool! Time machine, spaces, and dashboard are my favorite. With time machine, you can instantly roll back any file from any time and date - without creating manual restore points! It can do it for any file, even your address book. It was really amazing, you have to check out the video! With spaces it's like working with multiple monitors all on one. If four different desktops. All you do is click on the application that is in the other desktop and that desktop will pop up. You can also get a birds eye view of all the desktops and then drag and drop the window into another desktop. Finally, with dashboard anyone can create their own widget in seconds. All you have to do is "crop" a web page. That web page will show up live on your dashboard window. It will be updated constantly.
I think mostly everything leopard has to offer was pretty amazing. I will link you to my favorite three so you can check them out! You can also watch the entire keynote address yourself here. Check everything out, it's all great! :)

Was anyone at the keynote this year? If so, consider yourself lucky! I've been anxiously awaiting to watch it from apple.com, but those servers have just been packed to capacity. I will do a round up of the keynote on my blog - hopefully soon. I saw 30min of it so far, then the video just stopped ... no matter what I did. If you went, what did you think? From the first half hour I saw, it looks like there goal is to beat Microsoft vista and dell in the market.
2 Days till I get my MacBook!!!
If you could be on any reality TV show, which one would you pick and why?
hm ... interesting question - I have no idea lol. It was interesting we played Survivor in English class as part of a review for our Lord of the Flies book test and I wasn't even close to the top five - only because my team-mates backstabbed me and voted me out! oh well lol!
Hello again. I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be starting a podcast soon. I plan it to be tech, astronomy, and music orientaited - many different topics. I will like to do mini series of shows. For starters I will be talking about my MacBook for a few episodes, and then I will be doing a few web 2.0 shows - they are my plans as of now. If you have any information, or something you would like me to talk about it please let me know! You can reach me via email at Daniel8802@gmail.com. In the near future, I am also planning on doing a few things on astronomy - hopefully with a guest. So, most likely my show will be about many different things. Be sure to check back, and please refer your frineds! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
